New Bill, Touted by State Senator Mensch, Would Eliminate State Inheritance Tax For Small Business

New legislation in the Pennsylvania State Senate – Senate Bill 303 – would cut the inheritance tax for small businesses.  If the company has 50 or less employees, the net book value of assets is less than $5 million, and the business stays open for 7 years after the transfer, the inheritance tax would be eliminated.  Co-sponsored by local State Senator Bob Mensch, this is a solid common sense bill.
